Clinical Treatment
Hands-on sports chiropractic care that goes beyond pain relief to address the root cause.
Clinical treatment at INVICTUS Sport & Spine is built around one principle: find the cause, not just the symptom. Rudy combines chiropractic assessment, manual therapy, and functional movement analysis to build a picture of what's actually going wrong — and why.
Every treatment session begins with a thorough reassessment. Pain levels, movement quality, and functional capacity are monitored across every visit. Nothing is guesswork.
Techniques used include spinal and extremity manipulation, soft tissue therapy, dry needling, LLLT (low level laser therapy), and instrument-assisted manual therapy — always directed by clinical reasoning, not a standard protocol.
Clinical treatment is the foundation of your care at INVICTUS, but it never stands alone. It connects directly to your rehabilitation and performance goals.

A thorough movement and orthopaedic assessment to identify the root cause — typically completed on your first visit.

Spinal and joint manipulation, mobilisation, soft tissue therapy, dry needling, and LLLT — directed by clinical findings.
Dry needling
Intramuscular stimulation to address trigger points and muscular dysfunction where indicated.
Movement retraining
In-session exercise and movement coaching to reinforce treatment outcomes between visits.
Ongoing monitoring
Progress tracked against functional benchmarks — not just pain levels.
Clinical Treatment — FAQ
Your first appointment is a full assessment — history, movement screen, orthopaedic testing, and diagnosis. Treatment typically begins in the same session once Rudy has a clear picture of what is happening.
Yes. Sports chiropractic emphasises performance, function, and return to sport alongside pain management. Rudy's background in personal training and strength and conditioning adds a further dimension — he understands what tissue has to do under training load, not just how to treat it.
This varies by condition, severity, and individual response. Rudy will give you an honest timeline at your initial assessment. The goal is always to make you self-sufficient, not dependent on ongoing treatment.
Most musculoskeletal conditions are diagnosed clinically without imaging. Where scans are clinically indicated, Rudy will refer you for the appropriate imaging and co-ordinate with your GP or specialist.
