Treatment techniques
Clinical modalities
The techniques and approaches used at INVICTUS — applied where clinically indicated, not as routine.
Rudy draws on a range of manual therapy, soft tissue, and rehabilitation techniques depending on what each presentation requires. No single approach is used as default — selection is guided by the clinical assessment.
Soft tissue therapy
Hands-on treatment targeting muscle tension, fascial restriction, and soft tissue dysfunction.
IASTM — Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation
A manual therapy technique using specialist instruments, including Graston and FAKTR protocols, to assess and treat soft tissue restriction.
MET — Muscle Energy Technique
A manual therapy approach using controlled muscle contractions to improve joint range of motion and reduce soft tissue tension.
ART — Active Release Technique
A movement-based soft tissue technique that addresses adhesions and aims to restore normal tissue function.
Spinal manipulative therapy
Targeted manipulation and mobilisation of spinal and peripheral joints to restore movement and reduce pain.
Dry needling
Intramuscular stimulation targeting trigger points and muscular dysfunction where clinically indicated.
LLLT — Low Level Laser Therapy (Photobiomodulation)
A non-thermal light-based therapy used to support tissue recovery and reduce pain in certain soft tissue conditions.
Strength and rehabilitation
Individually designed programs aimed at rebuilding physical capacity, restoring function, and supporting return to training and sport.
Assessment before treatment.
Every technique at INVICTUS is applied on the basis of what the assessment indicates — not as a standard protocol. Book an initial assessment to find out what your presentation requires.
